The media get so many gifts that they don’t always remember the gift or the brand. We didn’t want that to happen with Freixenet, we didn’t want anyone not to notice the brand, we didn’t want journalists pushing the bottle to the back of a cupboard, we didn’t want them to simply drink it and forget our message – we wanted them to remember Freixenet and think of the brand as fun and glamorous.
Guess what they all remembered the duck – and it reminded them of Freixenet! Our targeted journalists said the duck had raised a smile in the office. Many of them gave their duck a name!
